Normally I like to spend my Saturday afternoons cooking something super awesome and luxurious and inviting friends over. But for the next few weekends I’m running all over the place visiting folks. Once things calm down at the end of the month I’ll be making these Red Wine Braised Short Ribs using a recipe from Bon Appetit.

Crispy Dijon roasted chicken and Green Bean Gremolata.
I substituted ghost pepper salt from The Filling Station for regular salt in the coating for the chicken. Which gives it a nice kick.
The gremolata called for toasted pine nuts. I had slivered almonds. So I toasted those instead. Not mad.
My second endeavor from Ina Garten’s ‘Foolproof’ is an unabashed success.
